Driving School MLO

The line at the San Andreas DMV moves exactly as fast as you'd expect — and on a roleplay server, that's a feature. This FiveM driving school MLO replaces the floating license NPC with a real institution: two complete DMV interiors, one in Vinewood and one in Paleto Bay, built for servers that treat a driver's license as something you earn rather than spawn with.

Two campuses, one license system

The Vinewood branch handles the city — new citizens fresh off the plane, license reinstatements after one chase too many. Paleto Bay covers Blaine County, so your northern players aren't driving forty minutes (unlicensed, ironically) just to sit a test. If your server runs license checks at traffic stops, having a DMV in both halves of the map keeps the whole loop honest.

Room by room

• Reception — a curved front desk under a glowing San Andreas DMV screen, with rows of waiting chairs that beg for take-a-number RP

• Classroom — desks facing a wall of actual road signs, ready for theory lessons before anyone touches a key

• Offices — instructor space for paperwork, and yes, there's an eye chart on the wall for vision-test scenes

• Locker room — for DMV staff running it as a full civilian job

Wire it into your license scripts

The interiors slot straight into whatever handles licensing on your server — QBCore's license flow, ESX license systems, or a custom DMV job with waypoint-based practical tests. Start the written test in the classroom, run the practical from the front door, and stamp the result at reception. DMV clerk and driving instructor become genuine whitelist-friendly civilian careers.

Setup

Standalone and framework-agnostic — the MLO is pure map content, so ESX, QBCore, Qbox and vanilla servers all load it identically. Drop the resource into your server, add the ensure line, install wxmaps_commons (WXMAPS' shared interior dependency) and restart. Both locations stream in immediately, optimized to keep client FPS smooth even with a packed waiting room.
