Every QBCore server starts the same way: a fresh framework, an empty city, a Discord with three friends, and a long list of scripts you think you need. After watching hundreds of communities open and close on Tebex, we can tell you which ten you actually need on day one — and which you can skip until your second wipe.
This is the 2026 starter stack. Every link below points to a live product on the storefront with lifetime updates and instant Cfx.re Portal delivery. If you'd rather skip the cherry-picking, our QBCore bundles collect the most-installed combinations at a discount.
1. The framework — QBCore Framework V8
Start here. Don't fork an old framework, don't run a five-year-old V6 you found on a forum. QBCore V8 is the version actively maintained against the current Cfx.re artifacts, and every script in this list assumes V8 conventions for inventory, jobs and metadata.
If your community is leaning toward NoPixel-style gameplay specifically, the QBCore V7 NoPixel 4.0 variant is the same lineage with the NP-style UIs pre-wired. Both are drop-in.
Why this first: picking your framework wrong costs you weeks. Every other script on this list expects QBCore — exports, events, item definitions. Pick the framework, build on top.
2. The HUD — 0R-HUD V3 (free)
Your players will form an opinion about your server in the first thirty seconds. The HUD is half of that opinion. 0R-HUD V3 ships eleven status bars and ten speedometer styles, drops in clean on V8, and — critically — it's free, so there's no excuse to be running the default for a single day.
If you want a more cinematic look, GFX Advanced HUD is also free and leans into a heavier visual style. Pick whichever matches your server's vibe; you can always swap later.
3. The anticheat — Optimized Anticheat FiveM
The single fastest way to lose a community is to let one menu kid wipe a bank vault on opening week. Optimized Anticheat FiveM is the layer we recommend installing before you ever go public — not after the first incident. It's tuned to stay out of legitimate players' way while catching the obvious vectors (god-mode, money injection, vehicle spawning).
Pair it with the In-game Ticket Manager so reports get triaged inside the city instead of buried in a Discord channel.
4. The flagship heist — Pacific Bank Heist
Every server needs one event that players screenshot and post in their server's Discord. Pacific Standard is the obvious choice — it's the heist your players already know from streams. Pacific Bank Heist ships the full multi-stage flow: thermite, vault drilling, hostage mechanics, response phase. It's the script that sells your server in TikTok clips.
Couple it with the Most Advanced House Robbery ft RAINMAD for the lower-stakes daily content — house robberies fill the gap between bank days and keep low-level criminals occupied.
5. The economy loop — Ultimate Drug Script
A roleplay server without a drug economy is a city with no underbelly. Ultimate Drug Script gives you the full grow-process-sell loop with territories and dealer NPCs. It's the script that turns "I'm a criminal" into "I have a job that's criminal" — which is the difference between a server players log into once and one they log into daily.
6. The money loop closer — FiveM Money Washing Advanced
The drug script generates dirty money. The bank script needs clean money. Money Washing Advanced is the bridge — and it's the script most servers forget to install until their economy is already broken. Front businesses, percentage cuts, cooldowns. Install it the same week as the drug script, not three months later.
7. The mechanic job — MT-Workshops
Roleplay servers live or die on whether non-criminal jobs feel as good as the criminal ones. MT-Workshops is the most polished mechanic loop available right now: customer-facing repair tickets, parts inventory, owner controls. It's the script that makes "I want to play a mechanic" a real career instead of a one-day novelty.
If MT's style isn't yours, browse the rest of the MT Scripts catalog — the same vendor builds dealerships, restaurants and other player-owned business systems that follow the same conventions, so they slot together cleanly.
8. The gang system — Gang Script
Once you have drugs, robberies and a wash, you have ingredients. Gang Script gives them territory. Turfs, hierarchies, gang storage, gang-only zones. The moment you install this, your players stop thinking of themselves as solo criminals and start forming the rivalries that drive your server's storyline.
9. The PD anchor — Davis Sheriff Station MLO + LSPD theme
Your law enforcement faction needs somewhere to be. The Davis Sheriff MLO gives the south-side PD a real headquarters with the LSPD theming pre-applied, and it's compatible with FiveM, altV and RageMP, so you're not locked in. Pair it with the Cuff Script with Tie, Drag, and More and you've got a complete PD-side gameplay loop without writing a single QBCore export yourself.
10. The wildcard — pick one from your style
The tenth slot depends on your server's identity. Three picks we'd put in this slot, depending on the server you're trying to run:
- Heist-heavy server: add a second flagship event — browse RAINMAD's catalog for the minigame-driven heist style.
- Economy server: add the Vehicle Selling and Auction System so the player-driven car market becomes its own thing.
- Free-tier server: stack a couple of high-value freebies from Tebex FREE Scripts — the Store Robbery (NoPixel-inspired) is a particularly strong free addition.
What we deliberately skipped
Three things you'll see on every other "must-have" list that we don't think you need on day one:
- Custom inventory. QBCore V8 ships a usable inventory. Swap it once your server has a personality, not before.
- Phone replacement. Same logic — qb-phone is fine for your first wipe. Replace it when your players are actually asking for a feature it lacks.
- Voice mod. PMA-Voice covers 95% of needs. Save the upgrade for after launch.
Spending budget on these before you've shipped your first wipe is the most common mistake we see. The ten scripts above will give you a fully roleplay-ready QBCore server. Everything else is iteration.
Buying together
If you're standing up a fresh server this month, the most economical path is one of our bundles — most of the scripts above ship in pre-discounted combinations. If you'd rather pick à-la-carte, the full catalog is at shop, filterable by framework and category.
Either way, every product on Tebex ships with lifetime updates, instant delivery via the Cfx.re Portal, and a working ticket system if anything breaks at 2 AM during your launch night. That last one matters more than you'd think.
